Welcome to My Circus of Magic and Meaning
Life is a circusāsometimes wild, sometimes wondrous, always full of surprises. I decided to create this blog as a place to share the magic, the chaos, and the creativity that color my world.
What will you find here? Stories and anecdotes about my crazy life!
Who am I? And why should you care? Iām a regular person, just like you. A retired teacher, a business owner, a mother, and a wife. But Iām also a crazy BIG dreamer. Iām someone who leaps into new territory without looking. I take chances and risks, and generally donāt take no for an answer. Iām not afraid to be myself, to speak my mind, and to stand up for what I believe in. My soulās purpose is to connect people and to create a community (specifically one safe for all the weirdos of the world, like me). Iāve been known to push people out of their comfort zone to get them to go after their own big dreams. Doesnāt everyone want to be in a circus?
And did I mention I have circus in my blood? That explains a lot! My great-uncle, Aloysius āRoyā McAndrews, was part owner (along with Zack Terrell and Jess Adkins) of the Cole Bros. Circus. He was an entreprenuer who lead quite the colorful life. Seems my apple didnāt fall far from his tree.
So why should you care about me and my life? Circle back to that idea of connection and community. My aim with this blog is to bring people together, to inspire people to dream bigger, to demonstrate that in order to succeed you first have to fail. I want readers to see that itās ok to take leaps and chances and to fail spectacularly. So in this blog youāll get the raw and honest truth.
But you wonāt just be reading about my life, Iāll include photos and video diaries about the ridiculous situations I get myself into, and the awesome adventures I have along the way. Youāll maybe learn a little, too.
My life is a little bit weird, and a little bit wonderful. I wear many hats and juggle many things in my chaotic circus. And I wouldnāt have it any other way!
So step right up, grab some popcorn (or a crystal), and join me in this circus I call life.
Welcome to the ringāIām so glad youāre here. š
